Policies of the institution related to transfer of credit from other institutions

Students who have attended other accredited post-secondary institutions may be able to transfer certain academic courses to RETS College. An official transcript, complete with seal, must be sent to the Director of Education for evaluation prior to the student beginning classes. A maximum of sixteen (16) credit hours may be transferred to RETS College. Students who have received credit for training completed at other post-secondary institutions may receive the grade of "T" ("Transfer") for applicable courses. This grade has no impact on the cumulative-grade point average (GPA), nor is it considered in the calculation of successful course completion.

Transfer of credits must meet the following requirements:

Transfer of credits does not reduce the student's tuition unless the course load is reduced to half-time (six credit hours) or less.  The accreditation of any institution does not guarantee transferability of credits to another institution. Acceptance of credits is always up to the receiving institution.
